Alerissa Boxers

Joe was born in 1959 and tragically taken from the
Kunz family at a young age. He became a family pet
and loved by all. Joe's job was to watch over Chico and
his sister Kathy. He would follow the kids everywhere.
Joe would even jump into the playpen to be with Kathy
when she was a baby. Chico's grandparents lived in the
next farm on their road in Letts, IA. Chico would go to
his grandparents to visit with Joe. One day Chico left to
his grandparents without Joe. Joe realizing that Chico
was gone, ran down the gravel road looking for his boy.
Joe was tragically hit by a truck. All of the stories that
I have heard about Joe over the years led me to get my
first Boxer, Bach.
